GREG KAUFFMAN is a Democrat determined to fairly represent all the residents of District 58 and is available by phone or via email. Greg was born April 13, 1954 in Oregon, and raised on a farm that remains in his family. Elected student body President at Clackamas Community College, Greg has been politically active ever since, serving as county coordinator for a Presidential campaign, manager of two state Representative and a US House of Representatives campaign. He has been Chairman of two local school boards in Oregon, and served on the Crowley ISD Board of Trustees. He was a founding member of the board of The Learning Center of North Texas, a non-profit resource center for learning differences. Greg owned and operated Kauffman’s Mercantile from 1979 to 1989, and has worked as a property adjuster for an insurance company. He is currently Chief of Operations and Development at Kauffman Leadership Academy. Greg also serves as Treasurer and on the Board of Directors for Cleburne Friends of Culture and Arts. Greg and his wife Theresa have five children.
